Also, @myfabolouslife has always been one of my favorite rappers, I always thought he was severely underrated for how clever he is!

Lt Col Sweet... The Air Force’s last serving P.O

Lt Col Sweet... The Air Force’s last serving P.O.W. officially retired.

I could not have been more honored to be able to make this piece and then have the opportunity to present it to him in person.

He was shot down during Desert Storm, his wingman was shot down and made the ultimate sacrifice trying to protect him and then Col Sweet was captured for 19 days, facing starvation, sickness and beatings. He has been serving close to 40 years, and is the embodiment of a true hero.

Back when I was still crewing jets, I remember having him multiple times as my pilot back in Kandahar, and he was always the kindness and most humble person, I always kept a spotless canopy, and a clean jet, so no issues there. 😂

I had such a short deadline for this one, lots of hours into it with several sleepless nights, but it was all completely worth it! I put everything into this to make him something truly unique and special that I hope he will cherish forever.

These helmets were a ton of work, but the details are where the heart and vision cone into play. 🖤 As always, used @pro_marine_supplies and @blackdiamondpigments_com for the finish!

Side note- I don’t think I could function without my beautiful best friend @_lauren.rachel_ always there to help me. I love doing life with you!

We really focused on making something unique and tailored to him. We have been working together for over 11 years, and he’s moving on to bigger and better things, gonna miss ya @paulrkiii I’m proud of you bro!

The details on it turned out so sick, so of course we had to take it out to the A-10s.
